About Us

The Three Horseshoes is a traditional, friendly village pub and restaurant located in the heart of Scotton, rural Lincolnshire.

Family-run and full of character, we pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to everyone who walks through our doors.

Our story spans more than 60 years. The pub was first run by Jim and Wynn Butler, before being passed to Denise and John Butler, and is now proudly owned and managed by Emma and Darren Butler. This strong family heritage is at the heart of everything we do and helps create the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere our guests know and love.

We welcome a broad range of customers, from those joining us for a delicious meal with friends and family to walkers and cyclists stopping by for a refreshing drink. Our food is simple, well-cooked, and made using fresh, locally sourced produce. Menus are updated to reflect and showcase the best seasonal local ingredients. An approach recognised with the Lincolnshire Life Best Dining Pub Gold Citation Awards for the last 5 years. We are dog-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome in our conservatory area, making us a popular stop after a countryside walk.

Community is important to us, and our pub is a lively hub throughout the week. We host domino teams on Tuesday evenings, darts on Wednesdays, and a popular weekly charity quiz every Thursday evening. Charity bingo takes place on the last Monday of each month, and we also work with local artists who run creative workshops on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Behind the bar, we offer a fantastic range of ales, beers, wines, and spirits. We listen to our customers and regularly rotate our guest ale pump to provide a varied and exciting selection, an approach recognised by our CAMRA Pub of the Year award 2025.
